Venue: The Liberty Stadium
Date: Saturday, 31 December
Kick-off: 15.00 GMT (8.30 pm IST)
Swansea have a good record at home compared to their away form. 4 wins out of the 9 games at the Liberty Stadium, and the quality of football they have displayed has won over the neutrals. Sitting 14th in the table with 19 points – just 5 points above the relegation zone – they entertain Harry Redknapp’s in-form Tottenham Hotspur. A defensive crisis has hit Brendan Rodgers hard with Neil Taylor and Rangel likely to watch the game against Spurs from the stands. Michel Vorm has been exquisite in goal and has proved a point that Swansea are not exactly walkovers. It will be a test of nerves for newly-promoted Swansea and getting atleast a point would surely help when the season ends. Read more.
